         The Air Force Academy Deanery aims to provide undergraduate and graduate level of education and training which will raise the air and space power that the Air Force Command will need today and in the future. In this regard, the Air Force Academy trains Air Cadets who are capable of using the weapons and technologies of warfare of the future in the most efficient way, qualified to lead the development of the Air Force according to the requirements of the age and science, have an undergraduate education in engineering sciences, are committed to Atatürk's principles and reforms, have internalized national and moral values at a high level, and consider serving the Republic of Türkiye and our noble nation as the highest honor. The Air Force Academy provides academic and military education that competes with its domestic and foreign counterparts with military and civilian faculty members who are distinguished, qualified, and highly representative role models in their academic fields.

        Our academy gives undergraduate education in the Departments of Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. In addition, undergraduate education is supported by the Department of Military Sciences, the Department of Social Sciences, the Department of Basic Sciences, and the Department of Foreign Languages. The duration of education at the Air Force Academy is five years, including the preparatory school and cadets who get through with their education graduate with an officer diploma together with their bachelor’s diploma.

        Foreign language education is of utmost importance at the Air Force Academy. The English education given to Air Cadets for five years is planned to be 1260 lesson hours. 120-hours of English language education are given as Aviation English in the 3rd and 4th grades. In addition to English, 480 hours of Chinese and Russian courses are planned as second language education.

        The classrooms in the building of the Department of Foreign Languages are equipped with a digital infrastructure that enables the use of modern educational technologies to support the active participation of Air Cadets in the lessons. In addition, the edutainment center, which is available to Air Cadets, enables many activities, such as speaking and debate club that contribute to individual and group studies as well as course activities.

        More than 100 students from 16 friendly and allied nations are studying at the NDU Air Force Academy as guest military students. At the same time, we attach importance to projects, scientific competitions, events, and Erasmus+ applications that will increase our visibility abroad. Within this scope, necessary support is provided to our academic staff and young cadets.

        The physical environments of the Air Force Academy Deanery consist of modern classrooms with a capacity of 30 cadets and technological facilities such as projectors and smart boards. In addition, there are technological laboratories such as Electronics, Computer, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Components, English, Physics, Chemical Materials and Production, and a Foreign Language Learning Center.

        Students can use the library which has a rich collection of books and is constantly renewed with built-in internet information systems every day of the week. Cadets who are willing to conduct scientific studies are given all kinds of support by the faculty members and their technological products are presented at various scientific events. In addition to giving lectures, the faculty members of the Air Force Academy also conduct scientific Research & Development (R&D) activities, especially in the defense industry.

        The Air Force Academy continues to work with determination and effort to prepare our officers who will constitute the air and space power of our future in their duties and responsibilities at home and abroad.
